Bio

Yuval Te'eni, born in 1994, is an Israeli classical guitarist with an extensive international career. In 2017, he moved to Austria to pursue an Artist Diploma under the guidance of renowned guitarist Marco Tamayo. During his time in Europe, he performed in festivals, competitions, and concerts across Italy, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, and Croatia, earning numerous prestigious awards. Among his notable achievements are: First Prize at the Tübingen Guitar Competition (Germany), First Prize at the Iran Yerushalmi Guitar Competition (Jerusalem), Second Prize and Audience Prize in Klagenfurt (Austria), Fourth Prize at the Brussels International Guitar Competition (Belgium), and a finalist in the renowned Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition (Spain), where he performed as a soloist with the Valencia Symphony Orchestra.

He began his musical journey at the age of 11 under the instruction of Oded Shoub, one of Israel’s leading classical guitar teachers. He graduated from the classical music program at Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, where he was selected to perform as a soloist in Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the school orchestra. Throughout his studies, he was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for 14 consecutive years. He later began his academic studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, studying with Irit Even-Tov, and graduated with honors, receiving the Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Performance. He went on to complete his master's degree, also with honors, under the mentorship of Yoram Zerbib.

In addition to his concert activity, Yuval maintains a vibrant presence on Spotify, where his recordings reach thousands of monthly listeners from around the world.
